Nascar Pace Car

I meant to post this earlier. With the new motor race course opened I think we will see more sights like this. We saw this car in a parking lot off of Tilton Rd, in Northfield.

It's the pace car from the Wintson Cup series

More Rain

Days and days of rain at the beach. But, the benefits are beautiful. From my bedroom deck I can see our small garden and it is plush, so green. I'm afraid if I go down to the ground level it will just turn out to be weed. The grass is growing so fast we will have to cut it wet.

There is something so serene about the rain at the shore. You know you can just stay in your pj's all day if you want, or not. There are no cars on the street, the school bus passed hours ago. No one is walking to or from the beach, not even the die hard fisherman. It's a relaxing day, even for the town and the beach. It's a nice safe feeling every once in a while.

More winter

12 inches of snow. We where in PA for the storm and where we surprised when we got back. PA, where we where only had about 4 inches, but Brigantine looked like winter postcard. Snow on the beach is a wonder to see. Love it.

I have to upload the photo's I took. Will do in a little while

Winter has stayed to long at the beach

I've had it with winter. Another storm is coming up the coast this weekend. Thankfully, we'll be out of here. Going up to PA to spend some time with the family.

I always feel this way in February. But, this year winter came early and now it has over stayed it's welcome.

While we did manage a few beach walks, they where few and far between. We haven't seen to many people here since the New Year. I guess the bad economy is keeping them home. I hope they are saving to get here in the summer.

What is really bothering me is the number of business that have closed. I do hope that the powers that be can find a way to fill the empty store fronts. But, I leave that to the people who are in the know, or are supposed to be.

So March will come in like a lion and we will deal with it.
